Where should I visit in Vietnam?
In Vietnam, there are lots of places to visit. Basically, Vietnam is divided by 3 different region that are Southern Vietnam, Central Vietnam, and Northern Vietnam.
For Southern Vietnam, the main city is ‘Ho Chi Minh City”. It’s the largest city in southern area. Ho Chi Minh City has many attractions and activities for visitors. Some of the top things to do in Ho Chi Minh City include visiting the War Remnants Museum, which documents the impact of the war with the USA on Vietnamese civilians. Another popular attraction is the Jade Emperor Pagoda, a Taoist temple filled with statues of divinities and heroes. Trying street food in Ho Chi Minh City is also a quintessential experience.
For Central Vietnam, the main city is ‘Danang’. Da Nang is a city located in central Vietnam. It is one of the largest cities in Vietnam and is the chief port of the central lowlands. Da Nang is also the central point connecting three UNESCO World Heritage sites: Hue Citadel, Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary.
For Northern Vietnam, the main city is ‘Hanoi’. Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and is located in the northern region of the country. It is situated in Vietnam’s Red River delta, nearly 90 km (56 mi) from the coast. Hanoi is a bustling city with a rich history and culture. Some popular attractions in Hanoi include the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the National Museum of Vietnamese History.
